Steve Momrow

After studying scenic design in college, Steve has had a long career as a designer, starting in the early 80” s at a high-end home furnishings store in Albany. Mayfair Inc. After a few years with Stickley, he started his own business, Moose Creek Ltd with his dear friend and partner, Patricia Demento in Albany.

This was a full-service interior design studio with curated retail.  They became known for a style they dubbed Civilized Rustic, which involved richly colored textiles and leather, comfortable furniture, and vegetable-dyed Turkish carpets combined with Adirondack furniture.  They had a second showroom in Lake George as well.  His own Adirondack lakeside cabin was featured in a national publication, Country Home.

With projects in the Adirondacks, New York, and Florida, as well as in the Capital District and the Berkshires, they had a very successful 20 years.  When the business closed, he decided to take a position with Paul Rich and Sons, where he remains happy to this day.

Remaining appreciative of his old customer’s custom, Steve enjoys meeting new customers and getting to know them so he can lead them in appropriate directions for their home and lifestyle.  Space planning and coordinating presentations are among his strengths.  Confidence in the Paul Rich organization gives great satisfaction.
He is also an authorized Hunter Douglas dealer for their superb window shadings.

Carlyn

I believe that the home is a sacred space to live our lives and gather with the ones we love. As an Interior Designer, I am passionate about bringing this belief to life together with my clients. With every project, my intention is to help my client envision and express their unique personality and taste in ways that feel authentic to them.

My love for textiles, colors and art comes from 25+ years working in Fashion as a Creative Director for global brands, having spent time living in Europe and traveling in Asia. These experiences have influenced me greatly and help to inspire the interiors that I co-create.
